If you want to be able to collect undelivered mail in Lightwater again instead of having to go to Bagshot for this please support the LBA campaign to get Royal Mail to restore this service. You can sign the pettion at Duffy's Budgens

Tesco have appealed - thanks for helping us to oppose them again
Surrey Heath councillors voted to reject the latest application from Tesco to develop the Homecare site in Lightwater.
Tesco then appealed against this decison.
Lightwater Business Association thank all who have supported our campaign on this by sending another letter to the Planning Inspector. The date for submissions has now passed - we will keep you updated here when we receive any news.
Lightwater is 4th best town in UK!
A survey reported in The Times has rated Lightwater the 4th best place to raise a family! The report analyses data on education, crime, childcare and other factors.

Wine bar in Lightwater
Lighwater's new wine bar is now open at george's in The Square. They offer a selection of wine, local beer and antpasti in addition to coffee and cakes.
Opening hours are:
Mon & Tue 7am - 6pm
Wed - Sat 7am - 10pm
Sunday 9am - 4pm
